Man turns himself into Queensland Police after fatal hit-and-run involving Uber at Wacol, in Brisbane’s south

Driver has become Queensland Policeone week after he allegedly fled the scene of a crash in Wacol Brisbaneis outer west.
The 28-year-old Goodna man was said to have been behind the wheel of a Ford Mondeo when he collided with a Toyota Camry at the junction of Boundary Rd and Progress Rd about 2.15am last Tuesday.
The man in the passenger seat of the Uber, 30-year-old Ryan Grafton, died at the scene.

A 26-year-old woman, also a passenger in the Uber, suffered serious chest and abdominal injuries and was taken to hospital where she remains.
The 42-year-old Uber driver was also taken to hospital in a stable condition with suspected spinal injuries.
The Goodna man was gone when police arrived, but turned himself in to Acacia Ridge police on Monday.
No fees have been charged yet.
Inquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is urged to contact forensics.
