Shifty Shellshock, frontman of rap-rock group Crazy Town, dies aged 49

Shifty Shellshock, the frontman of early 2000s rap-rock group Crazy Town, has died aged 49.
The singer, whose real name is Seth Binzer, died at his home on Monday, according to The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner.
The cause of death was not immediately announced.

Shellshock began making music with Crazy Town co-founder Brett Mazur in the 1990s before adding members Rust Epique, James Bradley Jr., Doug Miller, Adam Goldstein and Antonio Lorenzo “Trouble” Valli.
The band – best known for the 2000 hit Butterfly from their 1999 album The Gift of Game – broke up in 2003, during which time Shellshock pursued a solo career.
The band toured with the Red Hot Chili Peppers in support of their first album and went on a solo tour in 2023.
Shellshock has spent much of her life battling addiction issues, revealing her struggles on the reality shows Sober House and Celebrity Rehab.
